Offiqa Terms of Service
These Terms explain how you may use Offiqa, a work-first New Tab workspace that helps you save tabs, notes, and next actions as workspace sessions. They cover acceptable use, workspace data, local-first backups, optional accounts or paid features, support, product changes, and your responsibilities when using Offiqa.
Plain-language note
Offiqa is built around a simple work-context loop: save the tabs, note, and next action behind the work, then resume the right workspace from your New Tab. These Terms are written to explain that relationship clearly. If a separate written agreement applies to your use of Offiqa, that agreement may control where it conflicts with these Terms.

Offiqa helps you organize browser-based work without replacing your existing apps. A workspace may include selected tabs, a quick note, a next action, Today Focus items, app chips, and optional backup or restore data. These Terms apply when you use the Offiqa extension, website, help pages, support flows, or related services.
Core principle: you are using Offiqa to keep work context together, not to transfer responsibility for your client, campaign, meeting, or project work to Offiqa.

Use Offiqa for lawful work
You may use Offiqa to create workspace sessions, capture quick notes, set next actions, and resume browser-based work. Do not use Offiqa to violate laws, infringe rights, bypass security, or misuse third-party services.
You control your workspace content
Your tabs, notes, next actions, and workspace names are your work content. You are responsible for what you save, whether you have permission to save it, and how you back it up or delete it.
Local-first requires good backups
Offiqa’s local-first workflow is designed to keep core workspace data on your device unless optional sync or account features are introduced and enabled. Export important workspace data before changing devices, clearing browser data, or removing the extension.
1. Acceptance and use
Using Offiqa
1.1 Agreement to these Terms
By installing, opening, accessing, or using Offiqa, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Offiqa.
1.2 What Offiqa provides
Offiqa provides a work-first New Tab workspace for saving and resuming browser work context. This can include selected tabs, quick notes, next actions, Today Focus items, workspace templates, local backup, import, export, support pages, and related product experiences.
1.3 Accounts and optional services
The core local workspace experience is designed to work without forcing an account. Optional services such as billing, support, sync, cloud backup, template packs, or cross-device features may require an account, additional terms, or a separate purchase flow when offered.
1.4 Changes to the product
Offiqa may add, change, limit, suspend, or remove features as the product evolves. The goal is to preserve the core work-context loop: save tabs with the note and next action, then resume the right workspace later.
2. Workspace data
Your tabs, notes, and next actions
Offiqa is meant to organize work context you choose to save. Because workspace sessions can contain links, project names, client references, meeting context, campaign notes, and next actions, you should treat them with the same care as work notes in any other tool.

3. Local-first backup trust
Backup and restore terms
Primary workflow: local-first backup trust
Offiqa’s trust workflow is simple: save a workspace locally, keep the note and next action with it, export the workspace data when it matters, and import it later when you need to restore or move your work context.
- Create or update a workspace session with selected tabs.
- Add the quick note that explains why the tabs matter.
- Add the next action so the workspace is useful when reopened.
- Export your workspace data before risky changes such as switching devices, clearing browser data, or removing the extension.
- Use import only with backup files you trust.
3.1 Export files
An export file may contain workspace names, saved tab links, notes, next actions, and related metadata. Anyone with access to an export file may be able to read that work context. Keep exports private.
3.2 Import behavior
Import and restore tools are intended to help recover or move workspace data. You are responsible for reviewing import previews, avoiding duplicate or outdated data, and confirming that the imported file is the right one.
3.3 Local storage changes
Browser settings, device changes, extension removal, profile changes, storage cleanup, or other local actions may affect locally stored data. Export important workspaces before making changes that could remove local browser data.
3.4 No data hostage rule
Offiqa should not make your work context hard to leave with. Where export is available, you may use it to keep a copy of your workspace data outside Offiqa.
4. User responsibilities
Use Offiqa responsibly
4.1 Acceptable use
- Do not use Offiqa for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing activity.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass security for Offiqa or related services.
- Do not use Offiqa to access, save, or share content you are not allowed to use.
- Do not misrepresent your relationship with Offiqa or use Offiqa branding in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.
4.2 Work content and third-party apps
Offiqa may help you reopen or organize links to third-party apps, websites, files, CRMs, calendars, documents, ad platforms, analytics tools, meeting tools, or client resources. Those third-party services are not controlled by Offiqa. Their own terms, access rules, privacy practices, and availability still apply.
5. Permissions, privacy, and security

Some Offiqa features may need browser access so you can save or resume the tabs you choose. Review the dedicated policy pages for more detailed explanations of privacy, security, and permissions before installing or enabling features that matter to your work.

6. Availability, beta features, and paid features
Product availability may change
- Beta or experimental features
- Offiqa may offer beta, preview, or experimental features. These may change, break, disappear, or work differently across versions.
- Paid features
- If Offiqa offers paid features, trials, subscriptions, template packs, sync, or advanced backup options, the applicable price and purchase terms should be shown before purchase. You are responsible for reviewing the terms shown during checkout.
- Support and uptime
- Offiqa aims to provide a reliable workspace experience, but no browser extension or web service can guarantee uninterrupted availability. Local browser, device, network, third-party app, or extension-store issues may affect your use.
- Work decisions
- Offiqa can help you remember and resume work context, but it does not make business, legal, financial, employment, client, campaign, sales, or compliance decisions for you.
7. Intellectual property and feedback
Offiqa ownership and your feedback
7.1 Offiqa materials
Offiqa, its product design, website content, workflows, templates, names, logos, and related materials are owned by Offiqa or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Offiqa materials to you.
7.2 Your content
You keep ownership of the workspace names, notes, next actions, and links you create, subject to any rights held by third parties whose materials you reference or access.
7.3 Feedback
If you send ideas, bug reports, suggestions, workflows, templates, or product feedback, Offiqa may use that feedback to improve the product without owing compensation or attribution, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
7.4 Public references
Do not use Offiqa’s name, logos, screenshots, or product materials in a misleading way or in a way that suggests partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement without permission.
8. Disclaimers and limits
Important limitations
Offiqa is provided to help organize and resume browser-based work context. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Offiqa is provided without warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, always available, or suitable for every workflow. Offiqa is not responsible for lost business, missed deadlines, data loss, third-party service issues, or indirect damages except where the law does not allow those limits.
Data loss
Back up important workspace data. Local-first tools can be affected by device loss, browser profile changes, storage cleanup, corrupted data, extension removal, or user error.
Business-critical work
Use Offiqa as a context layer, not as the only record for legal, financial, client, sales, HR, medical, tax, security, or compliance-critical obligations.
9. Suspension and termination
When access can end
You may stop using Offiqa at any time. Offiqa may suspend or terminate access to web services, support features, accounts, paid features, or other connected services if you violate these Terms, create risk, misuse the product, fail to pay applicable fees, or if Offiqa discontinues a feature. Export any local workspace data you want to keep before removing the extension or clearing browser data.
10. Updates to these Terms
Terms may be updated
Offiqa may update these Terms as the product, extension, website, support flows, account features, pricing, backup options, or sync features evolve. If changes are material, Offiqa may provide notice through reasonable product or website channels. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
